Tuesday, August 20, 1968

I did my wash today. It was cloudy and it rained. Lloyd called. Bill did some painting today or tonight.

Wednesday, August 21, 1968

A nice day. I did another big wash. Also a ironing of our own and Mrs. Dearborn’s. I done up my regular work, picked peas in evening. Billie and I picked vegetables and I called at Aunt Ava’s. Uncle Lewis pretty good. Stanford boys called today.

Thursday, August 22, 1968

On the cold side. I worked at Dorothy’s. Came home, did a few odds and end jobs. Stanford kids here. Billie home early and left to go to Acton Fair with Lawrence.

Friday, August 23, 1968

A very nice day, I worked at Mrs. Dearborn’s. I came home, washed, cleaned up the house. Took a bath, got supper ready, went to town. Home, had supper, washed dishes then back to town. Came home, took care of the groceries, red paper, watched TV. Bill and I alone. This has been a nice clear day.
