Sunday, December 24, 1967
Buster here and got the bathroom most all done, run out of
material. Bill worked on ceiling. Baby cunning all day. Carmen excited about Santa coming. Betty,
Walt and Carmen over to Joys and Aunt Ava’s. In evening we went to Fern and
Lloyd’s for a buffet lunch and they opened their gifts. Had a very nice lunch
and a good time.

Monday, December 25, 1967 A very happy Day
All up early. Carmen real cute about her things and Kim too.
Dorothea and family, Fern and Lloyd all came early. I got the dinner to going.
We began to open the gifts. All had many and nice ones. Kim and Carmen were
excited. Jeff enjoyed it too. Fern and Lloyd here for dinner. Turkey, potatoes,
onions, shell beans, turnip, celery, relish, olives, salads, rolls, dark bread,
custard, chocolate and pecan pies, cookies, cake and coffee.
