Friday, November 12, 1965

We done up the work. Cow had a shot for a cold. Can’t use the milk until Monday night. We washed floors, swept, dusted and cleaned up from the cats. In evening to town. Missed the cats today and Kristie did too.

Saturday, November 13, 1965

A very rainy day all day. We done up the regular work. Betty took Carmen to the doctors. She is okay. Fern and Lloyd up here, Fern up for supper and evening. Billie worked for Lawrence today butchering.

Sunday, November 14, 1965

A very nice sunny day, on the cold and windy side. We put the storm windows on. Billie and Keith covered for strawberry plants and hauled bedding.

Monday, November 15, 1965

A nice day, I did a big wash. Betty and I to town. In p.m. Betty called Alice. Mike called Betty, things are getting worse and all hopes are getting weaker. Bill and I called on Jean. Billie worked.
