A cloudy showery day. I cleaned the dining room. Mike over fishing. Betty sleeping.

Friday, May 14, 1965

It was a beautiful day. I worked in the kitchen. Mike away all day. Bill worked at Jean’s tonight. Betty called at Marguerite’s.

Saturday, May 15, 1965

A very nice day. I done some cleaning. Bill and I to town. Betty, Mike and Carmen with Bubba and Marguerite Clark went to Portland. Got some clothes. Mike got Betty a vacuum cleaner.

Sunday, May 16, 1965

A fair day, warm in forenoon. Betty, Carmen and I went to Gorham, Raymond Clark’s for strawberry plants. Bill got them set out and rest of garden planted. Kennie and Dot called. Fern and Lloyd.
