Cleared off today and the temperatures went up a few degrees. Bill worked from 8 AM to 3 PM. Dorothea and Jeff called and talked. Kennie and Dot here. Betty and Mike looked at a house today. Billie and I called at Ferns in evening.

Monday, January 18, 1965 BILLIE TO RAYMOND      FERN TEETH

A nice day, I washed. Got it done before noon. Betty done up my regular work. I sent a letter to Jeffrey. In p.m. Betty, Carmen and I went up to see the house Betty and Mike want to buy. Billie began at Raymond today. Fern had eight teeth out today. Betty and I called on her in afternoon and evening.

Tuesday, January 19, 1965

A fair day. Not too cold. I done up my regular work, got a letter off to Esther. Fern better today. I made a chocolate pie and whipped cream. (Good) called at Ferns in evening.

Wednesday, January 20, 1965

Cloudy and snowy. It cleared late in p.m. Pres. Johnson was inaugurated today. I watched it on TV. I stewed beans today. Done my mending. Fern a little better tonight. Bill worked tonight a while.
