Saturday, February 6, 1965

Cliff’s birthday. Bill’s income check returned came back. A nice day. Bill and I took a ride up into New Hampshire. Milton Johnson, wife and baby called after supper to see Betty and Mike. No deal. Fern up for supper.

Sunday, February 7, 1965

A nice day. Done my work, cooked hen for supper. Made a pie.  Kennie, Dot, Fern, Lloyd and Bob called. Bob here for supper.

Monday, February 8, 1965

It was cloudy, I washed. I churned. Mike called a finance company in Portland. No doing. I’m afraid they won’t get the place yet they will keep trying. Sent for licenses today. Bill called out to sand about 10 tonight.

Tuesday, February 9, 1965

Done up regular work. Betty and I talked over a new deal plan. To town, I got a Valentines. Kennard went down with us. I came home, made apple pie, got clothes in, got supper. Nice day. Bill got home about 2 this morning.
