Rain today. Just done up the regular work. Fern, Lloyd called. I hate to have Mama so sick. It is hard to see her like this.

A very nice day. Cool and windy. Blanche and I washed. Mama having some pain today. Betty on the glum side. Snow gone a lot.

Saturday, March 7, 1964

A nice day, on the cooler side. I went to Bertha McAllister’s funeral with Aunt Ava. Uncle Lewis at Fern’s. Mama not so good today, real bad. Dr. Bish came to see her. Carmen has another tooth. Milan called.

Fair in a.m. It clouded up in PM. Done up regular work. Fern, Lloyd called. Kennie, Dot, Aunt Ava, Kennard and Bob. Today we called Es and invited her to come up. Also Dorothea called tonight. Mama little better, not very good though.
