Sunday, March 1, 1964

Mostly cloudy. Didn’t do much except the regular work. Cooked a ham for dinner. Fern, Lloyd called, Aunt Ava. Weldon, Lida and girls and Robert. Mama quite tired today. Betty and I to town. Billie, Carmen and I went for a ride up through Waterford up to Norway and to call on the Phil Hunts. Took (?) Nooney Holden to hospital today. Betty feels sick.

Monday, March 2, 1964

A very nice day. We did a big wash, got a letter from Dorothea. Mama fair. Betty to town etc. Fern, Lloyd, Aunt Ava here.

Tuesday, March 3, 1964

A nice mild day. Betty and I to Portland shopping for their Western trip. Blanche home with Carmen and Mama. Mama quite filled up today, not too good. Betty off to town again. I went to town to pay some bills.

Wednesday, March 4, 1964

Fair most all day. Clouded in p.m. Fern, Lloyd called. Aunt Ava, Kennard, Kennie and Dot in evening. Also Art and Joan Ward called. Betty to Portland again today. Had windshield wiper fixed. To town in evening. I done general work and ironed. Very mild. Mama stronger.
