A nice mild day. I cooked today. Baked some beans, thought Bob might be here for supper. Fern here. Mama had a hard day. Dr came, gave her some fluids through the veins.

A nice day, mild and bright. Bill and I to town. Mama not too good this morning. Better in p.m. All called to see her.

Monday, February 24, 1964

A nice day, on the real cool side. We washed. This is Betty’s off day. Betty helped work in p.m. Milan came at 2:30 PM to see Mama. A dite stronger today. She was glad to see Milan. Milan went back about 9:30 tonight. Had a big wash. Fern, Lloyd called, Kennard, Aunt Ava and Bob. Got a $25 check from Thena.

Tuesday, February 25, 1964

A beautiful mild day. We did the ironing. I did some cooking. Mama pretty good. Folks all called to see her. I went to town with Fern and Lloyd. Paid a light bill.
