Sunday, November 12, 1961
Cloudy dreary day, most all day. Mama for a ride with Ava
and Lewis. Boutilier girls went home tonight. Irma and Rowena called a minute.
Monday, November 13, 1961
Rain. I went over to Blanche’s and done my washing. In p.m.
she and I went to Norway. Betty made some cookies today.
Tuesday, November 14, 1961
Rained and foggy. Bill, Lloyd, Fern and I took Blanche to
Portland to the Osteopathic Hospital. Called at Muriel Stanhope’s. Betty down
to Rowena’s tonight. I went down to Wards with Billie to get water.
Wednesday, November 15, 1961
Betty got two letters from Mike. A very nice day. I done the
ironing. Dot and Lorraine called. Betty came home from Bessie’s this morning.
Betty rode phantom. Blanche operated on today for ulcers. Very sick.
