Partly cloudy. I washed, cleaned up the house. We made ice cream in p.m.

Tuesday, December 17, 1957

A nice day. Forrest came up, put the door upstairs at head of stairs. Evelyn Ridlon called, she and I went to Norway. In p.m. I got my clothes in. Dolores called. Kay came up after school. In evening Betty went to movies.

Wednesday, December 18, 1957

I did some cleaning in the kitchen. The rocking chair came today for Mama’s Christmas, from her children and grandchildren.

Thursday, December 19, 1957

I cleaned up the chambers today, and out to the dining room. Charlie brought the crib up today. Bill painted it. Bridgton Academy gym burned early this morning.
