Thursday, December 12, 1957 Snow Storm

So quiet and different here today. I missed Donnie so much. I have been writing letters, making out orders, cleaned up the house. Bill, Billie and Kennard worked on Christmas trees. They are coming for them today. About 4 inches snow on ground this a.m. when we got up. Sold trees today $145. Raymond called in evening. I made out an order for Sears.

Friday, December 13, 1957 Pullets

Nice day, cold. In morning bill and I went to town. Came home, wrapped Christmas presents. In p.m. bill and Billie bought 16 pullets over to Joe (?)Trues at Lovell. I sent order to Sears Roebuck and Co.

Saturday, December 14, 1957

A nice day. I cooked, done up the work. Betty got her Christmas tree in today. She went skating in p.m. Sold 15 hens today. Bill and Billie and Lloyd hauled out wood today.

Sunday, December 15, 1957

A nice day. Bill helped with more Christmas trees. Billie helped, Lloyd too, hauled out more wood. Mama up to Kennard’s and Dolores. In p.m. Bill and I went on a ride with Fern and Lloyd. In evening Bill and I were over to Bob’s in evening.
