A nice day, got cool in evening. I cleaned up the house, cooked. It evening Aunt Ava and Uncle Lewis called. Bill and I up to Parks and called.

Sunday, June 9, 1957

A nice day. Bill worked in strawberry bed. Billie mowed lawns. Betty to church.

Monday, June 10, 1957

A very nice day. I washed, cleaned up the house. Betty down swimming with Stevie. In evening went over to Twitchell’s with Billie to take Mrs. Parks over to see a cow. Fern and Uncle Os called.

Tuesday, June 11, 1957

A very nice hot day. I worked down to Thena’s cleaning house. Mama and Donnie over to Aunt Ava’s for the day. Betty up to Stevie’s house. In evening Aunt Ava called. Dawn Parks and Stevie came after their pig. Kennard called, Blanche called also. I made cake, Jell-O and ironed.
