Tuesday, August 13, 1957

A very nice day, but awful cold. Mama better and up. I churned, made a cake and ironed. Betty down to Parks all day. Dawn fixed her hair. Billie out tonight. Donnie pretty good today.

Wednesday, August 14, 1957

Cloudy in early a.m. A rain shower, cleared up late a.m. becoming hot. I made two cakes, didn’t do much. Betty to town in a.m., up to Dawn’s in p.m. and for the night. Donnie real good today. Over to Aunt Linnie’s in evening.

Thursday, August 15, 1957

A nice day, but hot again. I cleaned up the whole house. Didn’t do much in p.m. In evening Bill and I called at Lloyd and Ferns in the evening.
