Saturday, March 2, 1957

A very nice day. I cooked, cleaned up the house. In a.m. went to town to get groceries. And get a notarized permit for Dorothea to get married, and got it mailed. Got it from lawyer Lane. Betty over to Pitt’s stable with Moffitts in p.m. Bill worked on power saw. Billie helped Dennis.

Sunday, March 3, 1957

A very nice day. I did up the work. Terri came home with Betty from church. In p.m. I wrote to Esther, Cliff and to Susan. Betty went up to Terri’s house in p.m. Billie worked for Lloyd. Bill worked on power saw. Bob called in evening and got eggs. Bobby down in eve.

Monday, March 4, 1957

Very nice day but awful cold and windy. I washed in p.m. Over to Aunt Linnie’s. Town meeting today. Town raised a lot of money. Also money for hospital (?) No. O. D. to enter tho, Betty stayed down and had to walk home from Kay’s. She was awful cold. My dress cloth came today. Got a letter from Dorothea.

Tuesday, March 5, 1957

A very pretty day. Some wind and cold. I ironed and cooked. Down to Ferns in p.m. Raymond called in a.m., he and Billie went to South Casco.
