A nice day. Bill and I downtown to pay a bill or two. Called at Jean’s. I cleaned up the house today. He have to go back to work tonight. Beginning tomorrow he works days. Letter from Dorothea.

A very nice day. Only 10 above this morning. Bill on the day shift beginning today. I did some cooking, made out catalog orders. Got a snapshot of Billie Deming today. Es and Susan in it too. Letter from Es. Fern up in p.m. Mailed order for dress material for myself and corset for Mama.
