Wednesday, June 27, 1956

Rained all day. Went to town and over to Lake with kids in a.m. In P.M. went to Charlotte’s funeral at the North Bridgton church, not many people that attended. Es, Aunt Linnie and I went, Mama didn’t feel well today.

Thursday, June 28, 1956

A good day after it cleared off. I washed. Mama didn’t feel good, she was in bed all day. In eve over to Norway with Billie, Es, Susan, Bet and I. Went over to Twitchell’s to see a cow. He bought one.

Friday, June 29, 1956

A nice day. My check came. I went to town after Bill got home. Es and Susan up to Bob’s today. I cleaned up the house. Bill got his haircut. Kennie and Dot called in eve. Billie had a new cow come from Twitchell’s from Norway. A nice Guernsey cow.

Saturday, June 30, 1956

Es and I to town in a.m. We came home, she took kids over swimming. I done the housework. In afternoon Es packed her suitcase. In evening Bill, Es, kids and I went to town. When got home Raymond and Kennard called we talked etc.
