A cloudy day, rained last night. Bill worked at camp in forenoon. Milan went back. Charlie and Jean called, also Kennard here. Mama didn’t feel too good today. Betty to church to sing in choir. Bill, Bet and Susan and I over to Elmer Foggs in evening. Sue rode on the horses. Charlotte Whitting Luck Clemmors died today in New Hampshire.

Monday, June 25, 1956

Judy the cow went today. She has been such a good cow, just she was taken sick. I washed. Paid Lassie’s dog license today. Es, Susan and I downtown in evening. Bill and Betty used old Fan to cultivate the strawberries with tonight. Got petunias and set them out tonight.

Tuesday, June 26, 1956

A very nice clear day. Es, Susan, Betty and I went over to Mount Pleasant and rode up the chairlift. It was really fun, enjoy it very much. Es downtown in p.m. Susan and Betty down to Jill’s in evening. Lawrence brought up a cow for Billie to try out.
