Wednesday, June 20, 1956

A nice day. I cleaned up the house and cooked. Today we get our first letter from Dorothea in 19 days. I felt so much better. She was okay just hadn’t written. Mama had Dr. Skilling’s today. Fern brought Es and Susan up today from her house.

Thursday, June 21, 1956

A small shower in a.m. Bill came back home. Esther up to Aunt Ava’s for the day. Susan here with Betty. I washed and cleaned up the house.

Friday, June 22, 1956

Es, kids and I to town in a.m., did some shopping. A very nice day. In p.m. Es and Mama took kids over swimming. I ironed.

A nice day. Did some cooking. Milan came about noon. To town in evening. Got a card from Dorothea. Milan took kids swimming. Joy and friend called in evening.
