I went cleaned up the house and washed. Betty here all day. Norma and Betty Crook to movies in p.m. They with Arthurlene Andrews went over to Harrison Long Lake to swim while Bill and I took Donnie over to Dr. Ruby’s. Very nice day.

Saturday, August 11, 1956

A nice day. In a.m. Milan took me to town. I got groceries and a bag of grain. In p.m. I cooked etc. in evening Bill and I went to town. Also in evening Jerry Bishop and wife called.

Sunday, August 12, 1956

A nice day. Billie worked up to Chets. I churned besides doing regular work. Betty to church. Delores called in p.m. Lloyd hauled up some hay and put into pasture. Arthurlene Andrews up here today.

Monday, August 13, 1956

Another nice day. I washed.

Tuesday, August 14, 1956

Ironed. We canned some string beans. I cooked.
