Monday, March 26, 1956

A very nice day. I didn’t wash. Bill and I went to Portland and we bought a bathroom ensemble at Sears, Roebuck and Co in p.m. Raymond called. Jim Chadbourne. Evelyn Ridlon.

Tuesday, March 27, 1956

Another nice day, I washed. Bill cut the register through in the kitchen for the furnace. Raymond called. Got snapshots from Dorothea.

Wednesday, March 28, 1956

Another very nice day. I churned, ironed and cooked. Raymond called in p.m. Bill got the rest of the pipe in for the furnace. Billie got his income tax fixed up, got to pay $15.40. Got money and letter from Dorothea.

Thursday, March 29, 1956

I cleaned up the house this p.m. Cooked some this morning. Got some pictures from Dorothea today.

Friday, March 30, 1956

My check came today. It was cloudy all day. I cooked, snow on the ground. Milan’s folks came about 1 o’clock in p.m. I cleaned up the house.
