March 26 - 31, 1955 Mama Home From Hospital

Saturday, March 26, 1955

Cloudy and snowed most all day. Went to town in p.m.

Sunday, March 27, 1955

Cold and windy. Fern, Lloyd, Aunt Ava and I went to Portland to see Mama. She was much better. Very cold all night. Bill worked.

Monday, March 28, 1955

Nice clear day. I have washed, written letters. Sent Mama’s bathrobe. Got a call from Eye and Ear Hospital, Mama can come home tomorrow.

Tuesday, March 29, 1955

A nice warm day, kind of windy. Fern, Lloyd and I went to the hospital for Mama. She was quite pleased to get home but was very tired and weak from the ride. Her eye isn’t too good. Got to go back two weeks from today.

Wednesday, March 30, 1955

Very nice day. I cooked, churned and worked all day. Kennard, Aunt Ava, Fern, Uncle Os, Kennie, Dot, Blanche and Joy called. Mama got quite tired.

Thursday, March 31, 1955

Another nice day. Mama sat up today for a little while.
