Cloudy, not very cold. I washed. Got clothes in. Billie fair. Robert in to see Mama, she can see with her eyes. She was so pleased and so are we all. Brud and Verna had a son born today, Jeffrey Wyvern Smith born at Stoneham Massachusetts at 10:30 PM. Wyvern and Verna Smith no. 2

Tuesday, March 22, 1955

Another storm snowed. Billie just the same. Fern, Lloyd and Uncle Os up this evening. Fern brought up a birthday cake for Billie’s 24^th birthday. We had ice cream also. Bill called out at 9 o’clock, got home at midnight. I ironed today.

Wednesday, March 23, 1955

Nice day. Billie went down to see Dr. Skillin, still has temp. I cooked some. Raymond called. Bill called out at 4:30 this morning, about 6 inches of snow came in storm.

Thursday, March 24, 1955

Very nice day. Made a cake, helped Billie at the barn. Jack Cadman, wife and boy called to see the cow. No word from Portland since Monday. Dennis called in p.m.

Friday, March 25, 1955

Clean up the house, cooked etc. Nice day. Billie over to Raymond’s shop. Bill and I went over to Harrison tonight.
