Went to Portland to see Mama. We also done some more shopping. Got my dress and shoes. Got Bill some underclothes.

Sunday, April 24, 1955

Cloudy and not a very good day. Fern and Lloyd came up. Fern fitted my dress to me.

Monday, April 25, 1955

I washed. Rained. Hung clothes on the porch. Billie began up to Chet’s today.

Tuesday, April 26, 1955

Rained. I cleaned the china closet, buffet draws. Draws in Mama’s room and shelves in bathroom. Billie home today.

Wednesday, April 27, 1955

I clean the upper cupboards in the kitchen today. Rained. I got the clothes in. Fern down to see Mama, she seems quite good.

Thursday, April 28, 1955

I clean Mama’s room and bathroom today. Cloudy but not any rain, a little sun.

Friday, April 29, 1955

I cleaned Betty and Billie’s rooms today. Went down to see Lill (?) Erose tonight. Got a call from Eye and Ear Hospital, Mama can come home tomorrow.
