Kids went to show. Bill, Gram, Gramp and I went shopping
downtown.
Sunday, September 12, 1948
Bill’s folks here. Aunt Ava and Uncle Lewis and Christins
called. Fern and Lloyd in p.m. We took a few snaps.
Monday, September 13, 1948
Bill, Jean, their mother & father and I went to Augusta
in a.m. Bill, Mama and I over to Paris and Norway and Albany in p.m. Jean asked
me to go to New York.
Tuesday, September 14, 1948
We started for New York at noon. Jean and I to take Gram and
Grampa to meet the boat. Bill took us to Portland to meet the bus.
Wednesday, September 15, 1948
In New York city at 6 this morning. Went to the boat from 9
AM till noon with the folks. To the show in p.m. Met George.
Thursday, September 16, 1948
Jean and I got home from New York about 3 o’clock. It was a
wonderful trip.
Friday, September 17, 1948
Washed and ironed today. Cold and cloudy. Fern and Lloyd up
in eve.
