Saturday, November 6, 1948

Bill home today, he and Val finished cementing down cellar. Kennie and Rayburn here for supper. Cloudy all day. Quite mild. I finished cleaning.

Sunday, November 7, 1948

Rained in a.m. hard. Cleared about noon. Delores called also Aunt Ava and Uncle Lewis. Kennie brought up piece deer meat. Betty and D to Sunday school and church GS Sunday.

Monday, November 8, 1948

Washed today. Blanche here. Bill stayed home and finished the cellar. I ironed at night.

Tuesday, November 9, 1948

Bill back to work. I cleaned and puttered around. Got some new curtains (shades) for my room.

Wednesday, November 10, 1948

Rained awful hard in p.m. and eve. Awful hard in eve. Bill and I up to Kennard’s in eve. Billie and Glenn leaving tomorrow for a hunting trip to Sweden.

Thursday, November 11, 1948

Very nice day. Dorothea had Beverly Cushman here today. I did a lot of cleaning in shed and barn today. No school. Fern and Lloyd up in eve.

Friday, November 12, 1948

Bill home, he is lame knee. Hauled some wood. We washed. Mama canned apples. Frank Richardson came here to board.
