Bill worked. We went to town in eve.

Sunday, December 12, 1948

Bill and Val sawed wood. Worked all day as usual. Smart kids, my two, and I got the Christmas tree. Snowed a little at night.

Monday, December 13, 1948

Nice day. Bill home, he and I went to town. We went up to Randall’s in eve. Dried the clothes like in summer.

Tuesday, December 14, 1948

Nice day. Windy. I cleaned up the house. Ironed.

Cleaned up the house.

Washed.

Friday, December 17, 1948

Did regular work. Dorothea had a Christmas party at the Scouts. We cooked.
