Cooler today. Bill’s father and mother up here. Bill and his father went up to Dutch Pikes. Hayd went too.

Bill’s father and mother here. We took them home tonight. Dot went to carnival with Barbara.

Tuesday, August 10, 1948

I ironed. Picked some peas. Went out calling.

Wednesday, August 11, 1948

Warmer. Alone today. Cooked, cleaned up the house.

Washed. It rained. Bill worked.
