Clear but cold and windy. Bill’s father and mother up all day. Bill plowed a little. We bought our cow from Uncle Sulmore. $125.

Monday, April 19, 1948

I washed. Cold and windy. I called at Minnie’s in p.m. Billie begun work at Randall. We went down to town. Bros. to buy some calves.

Tuesday, April 20, 1948

Cloudy, showers. I ironed. Cooked. Delores called in eve. Bill up to Bob’s and Kennard’s.

Wednesday, April 21, 1948

Cloudy and showers. Bill worked today.

Thursday, April 22, 1948

Dorothea down to Ferns. Mama and Betty over to Bob’s. I was alone all day. Bill’s father and mother up in eve.

Friday, April 23, 1948

Cold today.
