Tuesday, September 17, 1991  HOT

 

Rained last night and thundershowers early this morning. I washed today. It was quite hot in a.m. The humidity want as bad. It got very comfortable in p.m. Carmen came, she got the supper tonight. Verna called in p.m.

 

 

 

Wednesday, September 18, 1991

 

Much cooler this morning when I got up. Betty gone all day. She went to the school check out where she is planning to go. Gone all day. Carmen worked 3 to 7 shift. Arnold babysit for her.

 

 

 

Thursday, September 19, 1991

 

A rainy day. Very hard rain showers today. I didn’t do much as usual. I got the supper again, a good vegetable hash. Carmen worked again from 3 to 7. Man called to check on the tractor.

 

 

 

Friday, September 20, 1991

 

Brogan didn’t go to school. She has a cold. Hope she will be able to go by Monday. I did a wash. Carmen will clean, change the bad. She was here, that the supper. She, Bro and I went over to Oxford and got the pumpkins for Halloween and vegetables. Also we went up and got apples at Philibrowns in Waterford. A very nice and clear day. Dorothea called this evening on her way to camp.
