Sunday, July 20, 1986 Walt’s birthday, Eddie came

 

Early this morning Eddie came in from Massachusetts. He had the day off. We was very glad to see him and he looked so good. He has lost weight, he has color from tan. I cooked a chicken dinner, he stayed. Also Zack came up and Betty and Walt went up to camp all alone for a picnic for Walt’s birthday. Carmen called and Dennis at Betty’s. Then on her way to work she called in. She looked very pretty. A very nice complexion, her hair looked good too. Kim called and wished Walt a happy birthday. Eddie has made plans for Eddie and Kim when she returns from Jakarta. Also he is making plans for their wedding next summer. A cloudy and drizzly afternoon, partly sunny in a.m. Milan don’t feel too good. Dorothea and David took Iva home today. Also they visited his grandmother.

 

 

 

Monday, July 21, 1986

 

At last a very nice sunny day. I done up the work. Did a washing. Made a pudding and Jell-O. Ate on the porch. Betty and I called on Milan and Betty. Dorothea called this PM.

 

 

 

Tuesday, July 22, 1986

 

Another beautiful day. I did the ironing. Cleaned up the house. I bought a new complete mattress. Betty S here. Milan called also Carmen, Betty and Zack.

 

 

 

Wednesday, July 23, 1986 mowed some of David’s hay

 

We’re still having nice hot sunny weather. I went to town with Milan and Betty and did some shopping.
