Monday, October 14, 1985 ANGEL AND FLICKA,  EBONY AND DUCHESS

Well it didn’t rain but it was cloudy all day. Well early at 6:30 Carmen and Betty saddled up Angel and Flicka to go to their new home. The weather want too bad. It was cloudy. No rain, they went down Route 117 over to North Bridgton, on to Harrison up through the town, up over Dawes Hill. Bypassed the Ridge then down Haskell Hill to Bolsters Mills. At last they made it at about 9:30. What a relief it was to get there. Their rears was lame and sore. Horses were tired. They put them into the pasture and finished the stalls. Billie, Milan and Carmen went and got hay, grain and bedding, later in PM they got them in for first time no problem. Bill, Billie, Milan, Betty, Erica, Eddie and Cassie all was there. When we got home Zack and Betty brought Ebony and Duchess up into this pasture. They miss each other. Dottie Moulton found dead in bed this morning.
