A very nice sunny day. I did a big ironing. Billie up early and away. Came home and went again. Bill went to the dump and home rest of the day. Betty and Walt looking for a new car.

 

 

 

Wednesday, January 9, 1980

 

We are having some beautiful weather. I have been busy, made a mac & cheese for supper. I done a dite of washing. Bill up to Dorothea’s. Billie gone off and on all day.

 

 

 

Thursday, January 10, 1980

 

A very nice day. I done up my work, we went to town. I came home, had porkchops for supper. Watched TV shows. Worked on puzzle. Bill worked up to Dorothea’s again today.

 

 

 

Friday, January 11, 1980 BETTY A BAD FINGER, NEW CAR

 

It started out clear but it clouded up, about midafternoon it began to rain. I did a wash. I cleaned the house up. I went down to Betty’s and helped her to clean her house up. She has a bad infected finger, swollen and dark. At suppertime she went to the doctors with her finger. They gave her penicillin shots and took her ring off. It relieved her a lot. Walt brought Bill’s new exhaust for the car. Bill finished the chimney at David’s. Also he bought a brand-new superua car, a very pretty blue. Billie gone all day.
