June 14 - 16, 1979 Allen Family Reunion

 

Thursday, June 14, 1979 40° only got up at 5:15 AM

 

Was on the cool side this morning. I done up my work. Betty took us to town. I came home, it was much warmer. I did a big ironing. I made a meat pie for supper. A few other odds and end jobs. Bill worked at Camp Encore today

 

 

 

Friday, June 15, 1979 LAST DAY OF SCHOOL

 

Down to Betty’s a little while. I came home, done a few odds and end jobs and I washed my hair, got ready and went down and got my hair set for tomorrow. At about 11:30 Kim got home from school. Zak came about 12:30. His teacher brought him home. Zak is going to take the 4^th grade over again. Kim goes into the 8^th grade. Carmen goes into junior class. She did very well in her final exams.

 

 

 

Saturday, June 16, 1979 ALLEN FAMILY REUNION

 

A VERY HOT DAY AND HUMID. I got up at 5. Made a cake, washed the floors and done rest of the  housework. Went to the Allen Family Reunion at Papoose Pond. Had a nice time and enjoyed it. Very interesting.
