Wednesday, January 1, 1975 New Year’s Day
A new year we hope it will be a much better one than this
last year. Today we didn’t get up till late. Still vacation. It was snowing but
it soon ended. The sun came out, not too cold. Bill nor Billie didn’t do much.
Carmen helped with the work and done some reading in p.m. She and I done a dite
of cooking for supper. We worked on puzzle and watched TV. Walt and Betty
called.
Thursday, January 2, 1975
A windy day. I got up early as Billie went back to work.
Carmen had a touch of asthma about 9:30. Betty called to see about going to
Portland so the kids can see the animals at the mall. Also got groceries and
called at Dorothea’s. Kimmy stayed down to Dorothea’s. Walt went to Ted Flint’s
and got the state car and he will go in and out for a while. He is to go to
work very early. ILAN, MINNIE and RANDY moved into their new home today. They
are very pleased with it. It is a very pretty home.
Friday, January 3, 1975 $180.90, $83.80
It has been cloudy all day, light snow flurries. Done up my
regular work and done my figuring. In p.m. called at Betty’s to stay with Zak
while she and Carmen went over to Harrison to get saddle which has been
remodeled. Then Bill and I went to town, paid bills etc. Came home, watched TV
shows.
