This is been a very bad stormy day, freezing rain. Bad traveling. Zak didn’t have to go to school. I was down to Betty’s while she went to Norway and to town.

Tuesday, December 3, 1974 $183.90 Bill, and $83.80 me

This is been a very cloudy day, some clear sky at times. I worked on my Christmas orders and my accounts etc. I went to town with Betty in p.m. We drove over to Mrs. Owens. Carmen gone to Portland with the Bracketts Christmas shopping. Betty and Zak up tonight to get some potatoes.

Up and got my work done. We went to Portland. I done most of my shopping. Dorothea went with us. She done some and Betty too. Not too many in the stores today.

Thursday, December 5, 1974

A nice day. I am pleased. I got so much of my shopping done. I washed and was busy all day. I was down to Betty’s in p.m.
