A very nice day. I washed and went down to Betty’s. We cleaned up her house and then washed windows on the outside. I got some greens for supper (dandelions). Esther over tonight.

Tuesday, June 11, 1974

A nice day. I washed in a.m. and done some odds and end jobs. In p.m. I went down to Betty’s. We done rest of her windows etc. I came home and got supper. Stan White came up for supper. Bill worked on the barn. Walt did his first soil testing job tonight. For a guy who built a new house in barn of Rado Allen’s place.

Wednesday, June 12, 1974

A nice day. On the cooler side. I done my work up early. Went down to Betty’s. I done her work and she began to mow or traim her lawns. Mary Ann Weston called. In p.m. we went to Ames up to North Conway. She bought her some clothes. In evening Fern and Lloyd called and Betty and Walt and kids. Bill got the inside wall up on the tie up in the barn.

Thursday, June 13, 1974

A beautiful day, clear and nice. Betty finished her lawns. I done her work and washing. In p.m. we went over to the playpen and cleaned it. Bill worked on the eves of the barn.
