A very nice day. Betty mowed lawns. I helped in the house. Bill down there working in PM. He finished up at the Jones cottage.

Saturday, September 8, 1973

Sunny in a.m. It clouded up. I did a dite of cooking then went down and babysat at Betty and Walt’s while they went to Freddie Packard’s wedding. Billie away with Lawrence for a little while. Bill and Billie mowed lawns.

Sunday, September 9, 1973

A very nice day. It got quite cold and windy. I done regular work. Bill and I went to Harrison to see where Crook’s place is. Then took a ride. Betty and Walt and kids went for a ride down to Sebago Lake. Walt went out in a sailboat. Billie down country with Lawrence.

Monday, September 10, 1973 Bill worked at Betty’s

A nice sunny warm day. Very cold in a.m. Betty, Esther and I went to Portland. Esther and Betty did some shopping. We called at Dorothea’s a little while. She is very lame. Billie home on vacation.
