October 3 - 6, 1973 Lloyd to MMC

Wednesday, October 3, 1973

Cloudy and showery. It cleared late in the day. I went down to Betty’s. We cleaned up her house, did some laundry. I came home, got supper. Milan and Betty came about 2:30. Bill took me to town.

Thursday, October 4, 1973

Rain today, didn’t do much. It cleared late in p.m. I went to town.

Friday, October 5, 1973 LLOYD TO HOSPITAL, no school, Peace

 Today was a sunny, showery day. Betty, Esther and Fern took Lloyd to the hospital to be operated on Monday. I had Zak. Betty and Milan down with Norma and the girls. No school. I did a lot of odds and end jobs.

Saturday, October 6, 1973

A very nice day, cooler and windy. Billie worked all day cleaning up, doing the fall work. A lot of people went to the fair. Milan and Betty out riding. I made bread, rolls, cake. Went to town. Milan and Betty bought some groceries. Joy’s girls down to Betty’s riding. Kim up here all day. At suppertime we all went down to Betty’s for supper and a birthday party for Betty Cox Smith. Fern up here.
