November 13 - 16, 1973

Tuesday, November 13, 1973 Bill worked

Cloudy dreary day. Betty and I up early and went to Dorothea’s to be there when her desk came. It did not come while we were there. Esther went with us. We visited with Dorothea. Betty took Kim and Zak to the doctors. Zak has an ear infection. He gave them some penicillin for those colds. Bill worked.

Wednesday, November 14, 1973 very mild, Bill worked at Walt’s

This has been a very mild day, sunny. Bill painted on the trim of the barn. I helped Betty do a lot of odds and end jobs. Lloyd’s heel is swollen and getting quite painful. I washed down to Betty’s today. Carmen up here for supper. There is a fuel shortage and now the country is all worried about that. People are to drive at a lower rate of speed and turn down the heat. They are going to give the schools a longer vacation of schools.
