Monday, May 28, 1973 RAIN
This is the holiday for Memorial Day. It rained. Betty,
Esther, Kim, Zak and me all went to the cemeteries at Bridgton and Waterford.
We’ll go up to Stoneham later. Bill took a shower. Bill and Carmen.
Tuesday, May 29, 1973 LUCKY GONE
Today I got a lot of work done. Lucky, the Horton’s pony,
went away tonight. A lady over to Oxford bought him. They came after him in a
big horse trailer truck.
Wednesday, May 30, 1973
I cleaned the woods work in the kitchen. Also done windows etc.
Did a lot of work.
Thursday, May 31, 1973 Stewart Barnaby paid Bill $12
Foggy and drizzly all day. About suppertime it cleared off
pretty good. Today Betty and I went up to New Hampshire shopping. Then in p.m.
I went down town. I finished my kitchen room floor today, got all the old wax
up and washed it and Bill went over at with Mop and Glo and it looks very nice.
