Friday, April 20, 1973 very hot
I done regular work. Down to Betty’s. She and Bill got the
chicks out today. Betty don’t or didn’t feel very good. Zak down to Dorothea’s.
I went to town in late p.m. to shop. Bill took me, Kim went too. Carmen played
with Cathy Smith.
Saturday, April 21, 1973
A beautiful day. I done regular work. Did little cooking in
a.m. then Bill and I went to Portland to see Jean. She was just the same as she
has been. I came home and cooked in p.m. Billie with Lawrence.
Sunday, April 22, 1973 Easter, 75 to 80° temp
A very nice Easter. Carmen, Kim and Zak all dressed up in
their new clothes and went to Sunday School. They were so pleased with their new
clothes. Dorothea helped them to shop while they visited during the week down
there. Billie raked rest of the lawn. It was up in the 80s today, real like
summer day. The Horton family were here for dinner and the day. They all were
dressed up. We had a nice ham dinner which they liked so much. Billie out
raking, cleaning up etc. Got the cows’ water tub out, feed buckets etc.
