October 15 -18, 1972


Sunday, October 15, 1972 Snow Flurries

A partly cloudy day. Cold and windy. I done regular work. Billie did chores at Dave Thomas’s this weekend. He took up the dahlia bulbs etc. Also he and Bill took the tops off Lloyd’s and our back porch. Bill watched the ballgame on TV.



Monday, October 16, 1972 Bill worked at cottage

A beautiful day, cold and clear, windy. Betty and I to Conway, New Hampshire, did some grocery shopping. In p.m. after I got home I washed rest of the washing, cooked etc. Esther called in evening.



Tuesday, October 17, 1972 Herman Brackett died, still windy cold, Bill painted windows at Walt’s

A nice day but cold and windy. I got my work done up, down to Betty’s. I washed storm windows and house windows inside and out. Walt put them on after he got home tonight. I came home and did my ironing.





Wednesday, October 18, 1972 Bill worked all day at Helen Jones

Another nice day. Very cold. I washed all my windows on the outside. Betty and I to Norway in p.m. I talked with Dorothea.
