Saturday, December 9, 1972 Ham, corned beef, chicken breast

Partly cloudy. It was much milder today 35 to 40°. Carmen here all day. Zak and Kim up in PM. I baked beans, made a cake and rolls. Billie got chicken breasts, ham, corned beef and bacon today.

Sunday, December 10, 1972 Rain

Rained hard mixed with snow all day. Done regular work. Bill and Billie out and in all day. No one here.

Monday, December 11, 1972

Cleared this morning. I done regular work, got ready to go to Portland with Betty and Esther. Got a few groceries. Came home, got supper. Betty got Billie’s last gifts bought today. We had a good time. I did some washing after supper. Saw the Apollo on the moon tonight. Tonight we watched the Apollos on the moon, it was very interesting.

Tuesday, December 12, 1972

Cloudy. I washed and took some things down to Betty’s and dried them in her dryer. I ironed. Betty cleaned up her house and wrapped  gifts. Saw the astronauts on the moon again tonight. They are discovering new sites, one a volcano hole. Many interesting rocks etc. very dusty there.
