Sunday, May 28, 1972 HOT, PLANTED Piano went today

This is been a very nice hot day. I done up regular work, made a cake. Bill and Billie planted garden, fixed up the flower gardens. Down to Lloyd’s in early a.m. and put his top on his back porch. Lloyd called in a.m., he and Fern called in late p.m. Also Zak and Betty after supper. Today Betty mowed lawns, cleaned out her hens house, done all her lawn trimming. Had Chris Rager up. Walt finished laying the floor up over Pa’s apartment. Kids helped Betty to look after Chris and Zak. Today the piano went. They came for it about 5:30.

Monday, May 29, 1972

Another one of those beautiful day. Bill painted. I did my washing. Billie, Fern, Lloyd and I went down and got some butter. Hortons called in evening. Zak is having trouble again. We ate on back porch tonight.

Tuesday, May 30, 1972 Zak to Maine Medical Center, permanent

A very nice day. Betty took Zak back to the Maine Medical Center again today. He is having trouble again. We all feel so bad about this. Carmen rode her bike to school today for inspection. Zenya rode hers too. Betty came home with Walt tonight. Carmen and Kim here for supper.
