Friday, March 17, 1972
A messy rainy day. A dreary one. Rained hard, snow settled a
lot. I done regular work, Bill and I to town. Bill made appointment to go to
doctors this p.m. It was for 4:30 Monday. Kim came up here tonight to stay for
a couple of nights.
Saturday, March 18, 1972
In a.m. it was cloudy. Kimmy stayed here last night. I made
a cake, rolls and become white beans. Betty and I to town to get ingredients
for Italian sandwiches. Also got Billie’s birthday present. Snow settled some
today. Kim and Carmen went to a show at Lake Region High School auditorium in
p.m. Fern, Lloyd here for supper. First time they had been here for supper for
a long long time. They spent the evening also.
Sunday, March 19, 1972 A Beautiful March Day
Today the sun was high and it was very sunny and mild. The
snow settled a lot. I done up my regular work, got ready about 11:30 and Kimmy
and I went down to Betty’s. I helped her make Italian sandwiches. She had the
Deming, Yates, Thomases and Crooks down for a combination of Kimmy’s going away
and Billie’s birthday. Not realizing the ordeal she has to go through, Kimmy is
anxious and excited about going to the hospital. Rest of us are much
concerned. Billie got a lot of nice birthday cards and a very pretty
Moosehead chair for his bedroom.
