Monday, July 5, 1971

A real hot day. Milan, Cliff and Billie D gone on a canoe trip. I had a cookout today for the Horton’s. Also Fern and Lloyd were here. I did some more washing this a.m. I babysat this morning with Zak.

Tuesday, July 6, 1971

Another hot day. All have been back to work today after the holiday. I helped Betty today. Bill began work at Jean’s. The campers came home today. Milan seems so nervous and upset. Esther and family called after supper. Billie worked for Betty today.

Wednesday, July 7, 1971 Hot

 Quite hot again today. I washed and done refrigerator on porch. Milan got off at 5:30 this morning. I was down to Betty’s this morning. Lawrence called tonight, he took the bull home. They hauled another load of hay today. Earl Davis Jr called tonight about insurance.

Thursday, July 8, 1971

Cooler today. I worked for Betty. She is getting her work done up finally.
