Monday, July 26, 1971

 Hot and humid. I washed, went to town with Betty. Paid taxes, insurance etc. In evening Bill and I went up to East Stoneham. We paid balance on driveway. Billie didn’t do much of anything except working around here. My washer went to pieces, belt got loose or something. Bill and Billie fixed that. Bill home early from Jean’s.

Tuesday, July 27, 1971 hot and humid, new lawnmower

Another hot and humid day. We had showers and got a lot of rain. We needed the rain, more than an inch. I helped Betty picked string beans. Bill and Billie mowed the lawns. Billie got a new lawnmower for trimming etc. Billie over to Esther’s for supper tonight. The kids came up, Carmen, Kim and Zak. Bill didn’t work today.
