Snowing and blowing this morning. A miserable day. They did some plowing. I didn’t go down to Betty’s this morning.

Thursday, April 8, 1971

I wrote some letters. Done regular work. Cleaned some closets. Finished looking over papers for my scraps. Cliff and Billie to Scouts. Esther and I called on Fern in evening.

Friday, April 9, 1971

A pretty nice day. I done regular work, down to Betty’s while she took Kim to school. Came home. Bill home sick with a bad cold. Dorothea came about noon. We got ready, went to George’s funeral. Billie took care of kids. Walt studying, getting ready for his test next Friday. We went to Weldon’s after funeral. Thena pretty good.

Saturday, April 10, 1971

A nice day. I went to town shopping with Betty and kids. Carmen went to the dentist. I baked beans and made rolls. Cliff and Scouts out hiking today.
