Monday, January 25, 1971

A beautiful spring like day, snow melted and was very soft. I done regular work. Washed clothes, dried good. Down to Betty’s and helped Kim get ready for school. We went to Norway to shop for Carmen’s birthday. A call from Arnold Lane, we are to go over Wednesday at 2 PM while they appraise the place and furnishings etc.

Tuesday, January 26, 1971

A cloudy dreary day. Foggy, snow, rain and a little snow. I done regular work. Washed kitchen floor. Talked on phone, worked at my desk, my clippings etc.

Wednesday, January 27, 1971

Not a very good day, snow and slippery. Kim didn’t go to school. I went down to Betty’s. Betty and I called at Fern’s in evening. Also Es went with us.

Thursday, January 28, 1971

I did regular work. Down to Ferns in evening while Billie and Bill up to get haircut.
